Hi, we had a day off on last Monday because of Labor Day which is a legal holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September in the United States. We all refreshed our brain and got back to work for this week.
Using this weekend, Yuko, a new Japanese Intern, and I had a trip to Boston, about 4-hour-drive from New York. Since it was our first time to visit there, we were really excited for everything, however, unfortunately in first 2 days, the weather was not good - much cooler than in New York, and on last day, it was raining all day long.
We went to
Trinity Church - one of the most important buildings in the development of American architecture, Harvard University - the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States, and Science of Museum.

At the church, we saw many beautiful stained glass windows and murals. I thought it was a building that I could visit more often since it was an extremely comfortable place.
Also in Boston we saw the Body World exhibition that includes entire bodies, individual organs and transparent body slices at the museum. We learned how the body worked when it was healthy and how it broke when it was not.
Other than visiting those places, we loitered in the city. We especially loved the atmosphere and architecture in Newbury Street and Beacon Hill very much. It is said Boston is one of the most loved cities in the world, and now I can tell why many people visit and stay there.
*The exhibition is worldwide - 35 cities in Asia, Europe, Canada and the U.S. Take a look if you have a chance!!
