by Paul Shumway, Vice President, NovaRad Corporation | September 26, 2006
NovaRad Corporation
provides affordable PACS
American Fork, Utah - September 26, 2006 - Five facilities in the Midwest are the latest to select NovaPACS, NovaRad Corporation announced today. The newly signed facilities include:
- Central Nebraska Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Grand Island, Neb.
- 25-bed Grape Community Hospital, Hamburg, Iowa
- 89-bed Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit, Kan.
- 21-bed Pawnee County Memorial Hospital, Pawnee City, Neb.
- 25-bed York General Hospital, York, Neb.

The contracts were coordinated through Brown's Medical Imaging, a NovaRad distributor headquartered in Omaha, Neb. Installations are complete and NovaPACS is fully functional in all the facilities.

Factors behind the PACS selection were affordability and the system capability and performance.

"Our affordable pricing model is consistently what first sets us apart when facilities evaluate PACS," said Paul Shumway, vice president of operations at NovaRad. "But it is the features of our systems, the flexibility offered to integrate technologies of the facility's choice, and the training that are the determining factors behind the final selection. We are pleased to have earned the confidence of these facilities and we look forward to supporting them to help achieve their productivity and fiscal goals."
