As we mentioned in DOTmed News on 9/27/06, Medportal GmbH, located in Moers, Germany, filed for bankruptcy on the 17th of August 2006, owing more than $1 million to claimants.
We heard from an Industry Insider that employees from MedPortal formed a new company, H.P. Medical in Berlin. Some find it suspicious that MedPortal's former Sales Manager was named Harald Pink.

Granted, this could all be a major coincidence, and we certainly do not want to jump to premature conclusions.
