DOTmed Holiday Party
in the conference room

Hi, how was your Christmas holiday? I really hope you had a good time. At DOTmed, we had a holiday lunch party in the conference room on last Friday. We chat a lot over tasty foods and drinks. It was very nice that everyone got together and enjoyed it.
As for me, two of my friends came here to visit me from San Francisco and Dallas last weekend, and they will stay here until Jan 2. They are in the States from Japan to study English. We used to work together at the Osaka International Airport as ground staff.

On Christmas Eve, we went to
New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street to see a huge Christmas tree and American flag in lights – fantastic illumination! And after that, we happened to attend Christmas Service at Trinity Church because it was just starting. It was a precious opportunity for us to be there on that special day.
Since we felt a little cold after wandering around the city, we stopped by a cafe named
Max Brenner for warmth. They have many different kinds of foods and drinks made with chocolate. We had a chocolate waffle, a piece of warm chocolate cake and hot chocolate. I know it sounds crazy but the place is absolutely for Chocoholics!
On Christmas day, we went to a Jazz club –
the Village Vanguard. The place is well known and always has good music – especially every Monday. Normally, there are 3 or 4 people in a group, however, 16 players were in the band at that time. I have never seen such a big group at any jazz club before so that I found it very interesting. More sounds are more fun!
I think my Christmas day was not as traditional as yours, yet I led a full time with my friends. Now I cannot wait for one more exciting day – New Year's Eve!
