The Sarasota, Florida location is ideal for a number of reasons. First, the local market has a large, growing and aging population with the attendant need for medical services and nearby providers. "There are so many doctors here...and I am closer to South America which brings a lot of international business," Benghuzzi said. Other export markets include Turkey and Indonesia.

But she warns that Florida, like any market, is risky for equipment buyers and sellers. "There are a lot of con people [in the industry] and Florida is no exception."
