Happy Thanksgiving, Happy RSNA

November 22, 2016
Well, its that time of year again, Thanksgiving and RSNA. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Every year I brag about how long I have been going to RSNA. I started back in the 80s. I have seen the show grow and grow and grow.

I remember when Matrix Instruments rented the Field Museum and had a party with hula dancers. One time, Philips Medical Systems had the Everly Brothers and one time, I attended a party by Fuji with some amazing sushi and those big drum players.

But the RSNA is not all about parties because when you attend the show, you see the latest and the greatest technology and you get to catch up with your colleagues.

Another nice thing about the RSNA is that it falls right after Thanksgiving: a time for us to all take a break and get together as a family and have dinner.

My advice this year is to avoid talking about politics because there is a pretty good chance the person sitting across the table is someone you will not agree with politically.

All of us at DOTmed wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving and you can expect our RSNA reports next week.
