Over 350 Total Lots Up For Auction at Two Locations - NY 03/21, FL 03/22

Clean Sweep auctions continue to grow

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | June 21, 2017
Over the last few years number of hospitals have come to us about equipment that is too valuable to discard not worth the time it takes to sell.

Sometimes things cost too much to ship. It isn't worth buying something for $800 only to find out it cost $1200 to ship it.

Hospitals asked us to come up with a solution. Enter Clean Sweep Live Auctions. We transport equipment in bulk to a warehouse and then hold a live auction with an auctioneer and simultaneously allow online bidders to participate.

We are so pleased at how well this program has been received. Equipment that might end up in landfills is being redeployed. Dealers save time because they can come to one place and buy lots of equipment at the same time as hospitals empty their storerooms.

It's really a win-win for everyone.

With DOTmed coming up on its 20 year anniversary we are so pleased that we continue to innovate and provide valuable services as well as our news coverage to healthcare providers and business people.
