Hello again -- let me talk about "sleep" this week. How many hours do you usually sleep? I sleep for about 6 -7 hours on the weekdays and 8 hours on the weekends. It's said that adults need 7 - 8 hours of sleep each night. So, I guess I get enough sleep every night, right?
As you may already know, a lack of sleep affects your performance, mood and health. If you don't get enough sleep, your thinking is impaired, you react quickly and you can have memory problems. Also, getting irritated easily and behaving poorly can cause trouble in your relationships.
Sleep is very important for good health. Lack of sleep puts you at risk for high blood pressure, heart disease and other medical conditions. Of course, it does not only depend on how many hours you sleep, but also how well you sleep.
