American Fork, Utah -- NovaRad Corporation, the affordable PACS and RIS developer, announces its upcoming annual users' group meetings. Customers from around the globe are anticipated to attend.

At the annual meetings customer feedback is gathered, additional training is provided, and plans for future software enhancements are initiated. Meetings are offered at no charge and are scheduled:
-- Aug., 23-24 in Phoenix, Ariz.
-- Sept., 13-14 in Atlanta, Ga.
-- Sept., 27-28 in Salt Lake City, Utah
-- Oct., 11-12 in Omaha, Neb.

"The user's group meetings are an important vehicle for us to stay in touch with our customers to get their feedback and ideas for future product enhancements and provide one-on-one training to help assist them today in their practices," said Paul Shumway, vice president at NovaRad. The flagship products that will be discussed during these meetings include:
- NovaPACS - a complete, enterprise-level PACS offering fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with intuitive interface, and 7-year on-site archive with off site emergency back up. Full screen viewing, easy to use menus and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency and referring physicians have complete access to images and reports from any computer.
- NovaRIS - a web-based information system that tracks patients through the entire radiology process, from the receptionist to the technician, to the transcriptionist and on to the end of the billing cycle.
