April 17, 2018 – West Palm Beach, FL – Integra Connect, the leading provider of technologies and services for value-based specialty care, today announced the availability of Integra Connect Intelligence, a suite of advanced analytics built specifically for oncology practices increasingly accountable for the cost and quality of cancer care as part of participation in the Oncology Care Model (OCM) and other value-based care programs.

The advanced analytics suite enables oncology practices to unify disparate sources of patient data residing in siloed systems throughout the healthcare ecosystem; apply Integra Connect’s proprietary algorithms to stratify and segment those patients on population and individual levels; and run predictive models via a machine learning engine to anticipate cost and quality outliers requiring personalized treatment plans. Integra Connect Intelligence is fully integrated with the company’s other population health technologies and services, ensuring practices can act on analytical insights via proven interventions to improve quality and cost.

“During the past year, our close collaboration with many of the nation’s pre-eminent oncology practices around the OCM has shed light on the greatest areas of uncertainty they face in successfully managing populations for value-based care,” said Charles Saunders, MD, CEO of Integra Connect. “It has also highlighted the obstacles presented by the inability to access and make sense of massive amounts patient data distributed across EHRs, claims, labs, pharmacy, and a host of other systems. With Integra Connect Intelligence, we unify and harmonize patient data and identify the highest-impact cost and quality improvement opportunities, all powered by proprietary algorithms and predictive models developed by our data science teams.”

Virginia Cancer Institute (VCI), an independent group of 24 nationally-known oncologists, is an early user of the advanced analytics solution. “Delivering the highest-quality care for our cancer patients within the parameters of the evolving value-based healthcare delivery system requires that we constantly enrich our understanding of quality and cost drivers on a personal level, as well as across our many populations,” said Tom Gallo, Executive Director of VCI. “Integra Connect’s analytics have helped VCI to synthesize massive amounts of complex data in service of a more holistic, actionable view of the quality and efficiency of the value-based care we provide.”
