Read Akane's Final Entry

by Akane Naka, Project Manager | July 17, 2007
I am Akane Naka from Japan,
completing my internship
at DOTmed this week!
Hello -- This is my final entry here in this space because I am leaving DOTmed this week. I remember that there were a lot of things were going on since I became a member of DOTmed.

As soon as I started working here, we moved to the current office, which was fun to work on making the move with all members.

I attended a few trade shows. The most memorable one was RSNA 2006. It was the largest and the most important show in this industry, as you know. There were various things to learn through the show, and I really enjoyed traveling with the DOTmed team to Chicago.

My training in marketing here had turned out very well. Mostly, I spent my time to report news stories for career corner, keep tracking shows and events, prepare for trade shows that we exhibited and other tasks from my direct boss -- Robert, Director of Marketing. It's nice to work with him because he has full of ideas all the time.

I believe I was able to learn about how American Business went and try to improve my English as I expected. I appreciate everyone who gave me a lot opportunity to make my internship succeeded. Especially, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Phil, President of DOTmed. He is the one of greatest people I have ever met.

I am sure I will miss my colleagues and my life in DOTmed...however, I will stay in NYC at least 2 years from now on to finish my education. So I will see you sometime, somewhere.

Thank you very much for reading my entries every week, and I wish all DOTmed users and members good luck!

[Akane: We will miss your delightful essays and the alacrity with which you embraced your work at DOTmed. Good luck in the future, though you won't need any, since you are certain to succeed at anything you undertake. -- Ed.]
