(MIAMI, FL, Aug. 18) - As the
doors opened on the 15th Annual FIME Show in Miami yesterday morning, among the first to enter were Mike Johns, Project Manager, and Phil Jacobus, President, of DOTmed.com, Inc.

They were soon joined by the more than 3,200 Exhibitors who also set up shop in the Miami Beach Convention Center. With more than 18,000 Attendees expected to brave the Florida heat, the DOTmed team was getting ready for a busy three days ahead.

Can you say "Hola"?
This international show attracts buyers and sellers from every part of the globe, with a large percentage coming from Central and South Amercia. So it's handy to have a few Spanish phrases at the ready, such as "hola," which is Spanish for "hello," (and it's pronounced 'O-la').

In fact, by early afternoon today, Mike and Phil had already greeted over 100 people very interested in buying and selling used medical equipment. But DOTmed isn't just about business, and among the many people coming by of interest were Jim Loeffler and Steve Rienstra of International Aid, a not-for-profit Christian relief development agency.

We're going to get to know them better and report on their important work soon in DOTmed News.

For now, our "siesta" is over, and it's time to go back to the booth. Look for more news about FIME and DOTmed next time. Adios!
