Suppliers: Many topics on the agenda, many innovations on show

Trends along the entire process chain of medical technological manufacturing and product developments dominated both the trade fair business of exhibitors and visitors at COMPAMED and the stage programs of the two integrated expert forums. Innovative materials were the focus as well as printed electronics, smart sensor solutions and microfluidic options for challenges in point-of-care diagnostics.

“COMPAMED 2021 has been extremely successful for the exhibitors. The feedback at our joint booth has been very good. The exhibiting companies had partly low expectations due to the pandemic situation but were consistently positively surprised by the good visitor numbers. In addition, the high quality of the trade visitors in particular was praised in many cases,” said Dr. Thomas R. Dietrich, Managing Director of the IVAM Microtechnology Association.

With its joint stand, IVAM was once again one of the largest exhibitors at COMPAMED. The 42 companies and institutes from nine nations represented a wide variety of microcomponents, solutions for smart textiles and coatings as well as manufacturing and processing methods.

The next staging of MEDICA and COMPAMED will take place from November 14 – 17, 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
