A recent market report on drone use in healthcare suggests that rapid deployment is coming. “The global medical drone market was valued at $109.08M in 2019 and is forecast to grow at a double-digit CAGR of 24.8% to reach $641.86M by 2027,” according to
an October 2021 research post by Acuity Knowledge Partners.
It noted that there are a variety of practical applications for the devices, including: blood and lab sample transportation, vaccine delivery, organ transfer, small medical device transport, search-and-rescue, and telemedicine.
