CEDAR PARK, Texas, May 25, 2022 – ETS-Lindgren will showcase innovative RF shielding products and services for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) applications at the 59th Trade Show and Annual Educational Conference of the Florida Healthcare Engineering Association (FHEA). Held from June 1 to 3 at Caribe Royale, this year's "Perseverance and Pride: Moving Forward" program features social events, inspiring keynote presentations, and educational courses for professionals in the healthcare facilities management industry. The educational presentations and seminars are offered to keep industry professionals informed of the latest codes and standards as well as best work practices.

FHEA 2022 features an extensive exhibition with more than 200 booths showcasing the latest MRI and healthcare-related technologies. "We always look forward to exhibiting at FHEA," said Mike Rinaldi, ETS-Lindgren's Southeast Regional Sales Manager. "Like FHEA, ETS-Lindgren is an engineering-driven organization. We appreciate the technical interests FHEA and ETS-Lindgren share in providing high-quality products and services to professionals in the healthcare facilities management industry. Through this shared commitment to best work practices, FHEA and ETS-Lindgren ensure better patient outcomes."

Visitors to ETS-Lindgren's Exhibit Booth #216 on June 2 and 3 will see examples of the latest RF shielding solutions for facilities that house one of medicine's most powerful diagnostic tools – MRI scanners. A "cutaway" model on display provides an example of RF Shielded Enclosure construction for MRI facilities. "For decades we have worked with the medical imaging community to provide products and services to support not only the MRI scanner, but also the imaging staff and their patients," said Mr. Rinaldi. "These powerful magnetic scanners require superior RF shielding to ensure they achieve peak performance and provide high-quality images for radiologists and their patients. At FHEA, we appreciate our dialogue with healthcare facilities management professionals about our state-of-art products and services." ETS-Lindgren's innovative products on display at FHEA 2022 include the EVO™ Series of MRI RF Shielded Doors as well as novel accessories such as ClearShield™ S-Glass and an Oxygen Monitoring System (OMS).

For industry-leading MRI door technology, the EVO Series of MRI RF Shielded Doors are designed to provide reliable, low-maintenance service for use in rigorous MRI environments. To facilitate access into and out of the MRI suite, this manual door is equipped with an easy-open, lever-style handle with minimal force required for operation. Customers who are frustrated by opening and closing their cumbersome MRI doors are relieved by the low-friction, aesthetically pleasing EVO door. With its low-profile, ADA-compliant threshold, the door facilitates effortless patient gurney transfers and easy cleaning, especially useful for surgical applications. But perhaps the most important feature of the EVO door is its acoustic performance, with Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating choices of 28, 34, 40, and 44 (49 dB of sound reduction at frequencies of concern). These ratings ensure a quieter, calmer environment near the MRI suite for staff and patients.
