Digital SPECT innovator Spectrum Dynamics has announced a partnership with DeepDense Medical, a company focused on developing AI-based clinical applications, to revolutionize the analysis and treatment of cardiac and spine diseases through enhanced imaging capabilities.

Customers of Spectrum Dynamics will now have access to DeepDense's AI applications, which include sophisticated visualization and editing tools. These tools are designed to reduce healthcare costs and elevate patient care standards by enabling more precise and efficient analysis.

Gilad Yoeli, CEO of Spectrum Dynamics, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating that it will enable the company to enhance its VERITON-CT and D-SPECT platforms with AI capabilities. These enhancements are expected to lead to automatic quantitative analysis, improved image quality, and reduced scan times. "This agreement demonstrates our resolve to continue to be at the forefront of molecular imaging technology," Yoeli said.

Spectrum Dynamics, based in Sarasota, Florida, is known for pioneering digital SPECT imaging systems, including the world's first digital cardiac SPECT system, the D-SPECT CARDIO, launched in 2007.

DeepDense Medical specializes in developing AI applications that integrate with existing medical imaging products, offering tools for automatic analysis, improved image quality, and faster scanning processes.
