Caesarea, Israel - Oct. 21, 2024 - Arineta, a leader in advancing cardiovascular imaging solutions, announces the installation of its SpotLight™ Duo cardiac CT scanner at Peachstate Advanced Cardiac and Endovascular (PACE) in Newnan, Georgia. The installation enables PACE to meet the growing local demand for advanced cardiac diagnostics and fill a critical gap for patients facing long wait times for essential imaging services.

The scanner serves patients across PACE's six locations—including Lagrange, Fayetteville, Griffin, and Atlanta—helping to reduce the backlog at local hospitals, where cardiac CT scan wait times can extend for months. Its advanced capabilities have been critical in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular issues.

Initially focused on endovascular procedures such as stent placements, PACE has expanded its diagnostic capabilities with the Spotlight Duo, now using it to detect a wider range of heart and arterial conditions. The scanner’s 0.24-second rotation speed allows it to capture detailed images of the moving heart in a single heartbeat, making it particularly effective for patients with irregular heart rates—an advantage that traditional CT scanners often lack.

“The addition of the Spotlight scanner is a significant advancement in our diagnostic capabilities,” said Dr. Oghenerukevwe Odiete, board-certified interventional and vascular cardiologist at PACE. “Many come to us with narrowing in their arteries, and being able to diagnose and address these problems early means we can help them avoid serious complications down the road.”

The single-beat, whole-heart scanner features optimized 140 mm coverage. Using deep-learning imaging reconstruction (DLIR) powered by artificial intelligence, Arineta’s technology enhances image clarity while reducing noise, delivering more precise and detailed cross-sectional images.

“Our goal is to expand our patient base and raise awareness about the scanner’s availability,” Odiete continued. “With this technology, we’re not just improving our diagnostics; we’re enhancing the care we provide.”
