Labcorp plans to deploy PathAI’s FDA-cleared AISight Dx digital pathology platform across its U.S. network of anatomic pathology laboratories and affiliated hospital sites, expanding a collaboration that began in 2019.
The Burlington, North Carolina-based laboratory services company said the cloud-based platform will support fully digital workflows, allowing pathologists to review, manage and annotate slides electronically. AISight Dx is cleared by the FDA for primary diagnosis in the United States and carries CE-IVD marking for use in parts of Europe.
According to Labcorp, the system will be implemented across its anatomic pathology operations to enable digital case management, slide review and collaboration. The platform also includes artificial intelligence-based image analysis tools and secure data storage designed to integrate with existing laboratory systems.
