ECRI Institute's INsight assessments are evidence-based and provide comparative information against which an organization can benchmark their results. They are developed based on the standards of professional, accreditation, and regulatory agencies such as the Joint Commission, National Quality Foundation, Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services, OSHA, and multiple medical and nursing professional societies.

"Our affiliation with ECRI Institute has been an extremely positive experience" says Ellen E. Banach, Senior Vice President, Strategic Services, Southcoast Health System, New Bedford, Massachusetts. "ECRI Institute took a very comprehensive and organized approach to our risk assessment project. The project objective was to focus on risk mitigation and patient safety as well as the ability to benchmark performance against industry standards of quality and patient safety. Every aspect of this project progressed like clockwork and was very well coordinated."

The extensive benchmarking database of risk assessments includes results from ECRI Institute assessments performed for various hospitals, physician practices, and continuing care organizations. In addition, recommendations and tools are provided from ECRI Institute's extensive risk analyses, guides and research. Users benefit from the ability to reach various levels of staff for assessment in a time-saving and cost-effective way.
