Cook Medical, Bloomington, IL, is launching a new division making new devices and technology in the field of interventional radiology.
The new unit will be based at its Bloomington headquarters, and will result in an undisclosed number of new workers being hired.
The private company declined to say how much it plans to invest, other than to say it will launch "a number of new medical devices" in the field this year.
