Investigators from the Defense Criminal Investigative Service of the U.S. Defense Department today conducted a limited search of Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.'s Malvern, PA facility.
The search was in connection with an investigation of a Siemens contract
with the Department of Defense (DoD).

The search was focused on one floor on one building of Siemens' Malvern
campus. "Siemens asked employees who work near the area subject to the
search to leave for the remainder of the day and to return tomorrow for a
regular workday," according to Public Relations Director Lance Longwell in a statement from the company provided to DOTmed News.
Siemens has fully cooperated with the investigation and will continue to
do so, Longwell said.
The company is a supplier of medical imaging technology to the U.S. armed forces.
