To help healthcare providers store, manage and protect the increasing volume and complexity of patient information and clinical images, Siemens will offer EMC Symmetrix, CLARiiON and Centera networked storage systems with its medical imaging solutions, Soarian health information solutions (HIS), and syngo Suite of Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) offerings.

The combination of Siemens' and EMC's product portfolios will provide healthcare organizations with a tiered information infrastructure to implement an information lifecycle management (ILM) strategy.
