IAMERS meets in Rome, Sept 9-11
The International Association of Medical Equipment Remarketers and Servicers will hold its fifth annual international meeting in Rome, Italy September 9-11 at the Grand Hotel de la Minerve. This is a change of venue for the meeting, which had been held in Amsterdam. This year's meeting theme is "Re-imagine Medical Imaging."
The conference will include a focus on regulatory trends and the agenda is oriented toward global markets and ways to help members expand business worldwide.
Featured presenters include Wayne Webster, Diagnostix Plus and Proactics Consulting, Boston. Webster, also a frequent DOTmed Business News contributor, will discuss how the combination of technology, the economy and regulation can result in some unexpected outcomes in medical imaging.

Steen Lindequist, M.D., Curato, Copenhagen will give a talk on the Private Sector View of Pre-owned Diagnostic Imaging Equipment.
A panel discussion with industry opinion leaders will focus on the Impact of Increased Regulation in Used Medical Equipment Sales.
Another focus is Controlling Equipment Life-cycle Costs in Today's Challenging Business Climate, a topic for Dunlee's David Kuehn.
Legal issues in Europe and financing content round out the agenda.
This is IAMERS' second of two international meetings for the year. As previously reported in DOTmed News, the association met in Puerto Rico in the spring.
