The Imaging 100 Conference, held in Braselton, Ga., at the Chateau Elan, had its main events on Monday, March 22. The attendees packed each presentation and were eager to hear what the speakers had to say about the future of the free-standing diagnostic business.
The Imaging 100 represents 100 of the leading free-standing imaging companies in the country -- some of which operate more than 100 individual centers. This invitation-only event is greatly different from a typical trade show. There are no booths, no crowds, and no wasted time.
DOTmed Business News was invited as the sole media outlet and interviewed
more than a dozen attendees. These interviews will run on DOTmed Online News over the next several weeks. DOTmed's Robert Garment and Ron Minor attended the conference. They investigated topics of interest to the attendees, including the health care reform bill and how reimbursements may affect imaging professionals.

"Both the imaging center executives and the vendors offer quality, not
quantity, which makes this event highly productive for all," noted Doug
Fischer, CEO of the Summer Group, host of the Imaging 100.
This event offers a relaxed, collegial atmosphere where new friendships
are as likely to start as new business deals.
