Tennessee floods force
change of conference plans
Due to severe flooding in middle Tennessee, and Nashville in particular, the annual Amerinet Member Conference has been postponed till a later date. The conference had been scheduled for May 17-20 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center.
It is still unclear where and when the event will be held, according to Amerinet. The organization will be in contact with member and supplier attendees regarding rescheduling, advance shipment, travel arrangements and refunds.
Earlier today, DOTmed News reported that the original meeting site, the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center, which sits on the Cumberland River, experienced severe flood damage Monday. The river rose to levels that have not been seen in 50 years, causing the hotel to close for 90 days.
