This year's Medexpo Kenya is held in conjunction with the Kenya trade show. Last year, this show attracted exhibitors from more than 25 countries across the globe, including France, Italy, Thailand, South Africa and India.

The Medexpo Kenya involves exhibitors from both the medical and pharmaceutical industries, demonstrating equipment, tools, medicines and more.

Last year, according to a report from Grow Exhibitions, 85 percent of the exhibitors reported "high business prospects." The survey also found prospective and confirmed business transactions worth $24 million during the three-day event.

This year's show, Sept. 17 to 19, will present more than 10,000 products, equipment and machinery from more than 15 countries. The turnout is expected to increase by at least 20 percent, according to Expo Group.

The 13th Medexpo Kenya International Trade Exhibition will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

Just four days after the Medexpo Kenya wraps up, the Medexpo East Africa will take place Dec. 1 to 3 in Tanzania. The show is the largest trade event held annually in Tanzania, according to Expo Group. Tanzania is the center of the East African market, and the show attracts exhibitors from more than 17 countries throughout Africa.

Last year, 73 percent of exhibitors reported "high business prospects," according to Expo Group, and prospective and confirmed business transactions were worth $11.5 million during the three-day event. The turnout last year was 11,450, with almost 2,000 coming from overseas.
