St. Malo, Manitoba, Canada -- DISC announced Monday that as of February of this year their past business plan, utilizing only Fluke Biomedical as the sole distributor for their products, has been changed to reflect a new vision and direction for the company. DISC has expanded their operations from St. Malo, Canada to Connecticut where the primary sales and marketing efforts will be lead by Pat Pyers, President.

Since the incorporation of the new business plan, a new sales organization has been developed to include representation in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and West combined with the new Broadwest Corporation partnership to effectively support the entire USA. Within the past few months, distribution in Europe and the Middle East has been established to strengthen the worldwide presence of DISC.

As stated by Pyers: "My intention is to grow DISC by surrounding us with experts with imaging systems knowledge and sales, worldwide. We have already begun working with many prominent physicists to help bring new and innovative products to market. The USA and Canada are now effectively supported and we are picking up several countries within Europe and the Middle East for product distribution. Just in recent months our distributor in Kuwait reports that the Radchex and Mamchex is the recommended tool for monitoring all CR systems within Kuwait. We are thankful for the foundation that Fluke Biomedical has established with our product thus far, but DISC's new direction will bring to market the DISC product line recognition worldwide. We have begun to attend several exhibitions as DISC addressing several markets including biomedical, x-ray service industry, Radiation Inspectors, military, medical physicists and OEM's. We will be attending RSNA in November with the release of a new DR product and to expand our connections to each market segment."
