Atlanta, Ga. - At the American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting, GE Healthcare showcased a new series of system control features now available on the company's industry-leading Innova cardiovascular and interventional imaging systems. Available on the Innova 2100 IQ, 3100 IQ and 4100 IQ, these new features provide advanced tools for GE's breakthroughdigital flat panel detector technology. They include a new touch screen and tableside controls that are designed to enhance productivity and ease of use for cardiologists and an integrated UPS to continue fluoroscopy in the event of power interruption. New features may also accommodate increased procedure volume by offering cardiologists faster, minimally invasive diagnostic options. Also featured was a unique robotic detector positioning technique, called Innova Sense, which uses
non-contact proximity sensors to automatically position the detector at an optimal distance from the patient and contribute to reduction in patient exposure.

"GE has designed new features that will offer clinicians greater speed and productivity than ever before. The integrated UPS is important as it provides the clinician with vital minutes of fluoroscopy in the event of the power loss. Innova Central Touchscreen - newly designed touch screen provides an integrated set of enhancements designed to further enable tableside productivity.
Intuitive Tableside Controls - enhanced tableside controls allows easy one-finger mechanical steering of the Innova positioner, Omega table/tabletop and the Revolution Detector
In-Room Browser - the in-room browser is an easy-to-navigate visual catalog of all sequences and photos acquired during a case. Previous projections can be recalled and replayed with the push of a button. Their corresponding rotations,
angulations and SID settings are remembered and can be recreated with one simple
action.
Innova FluoroStore and FluoroLoop - allows storage and review of fluoroscopic loops with the touch of a button.
Virtual Collimation - will allow precise collimator blade positioning without Fluoro, ultimately improving precision and cutting patient exposure.
