(Long Island, NY) Medical equipment manufacturer, Quantum Medical Imaging has completed another installation Q-RAD-DIGITAL "DRX Series" System at the Center for Orthopedics in Sheffield Ohio. The sale and installation was facilitated by Centura X-Ray Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, a Quantum "Gold Star" Dealer in the U.S.A.
The Center for Orthopedics Facility offers a full array of orthopedic services - from specialty physician care, x-rays, casts and physical therapy. The orthopedic surgeons at the Center for Orthopedics have advanced training in state-of-the-art procedures.
This digital radiographic system installation included Quantum's Ceiling Mounted Imaging System fully integrated with a Single Carestream DRX-1 wireless detector and Image Processing. The system also included a QUIET-LIFT elevating table with a 650 lbs. patient weight capacity as well as a VERTI-Q Wall Stand with a rotating tray feature.

Another beneficial feature included with the installation is Quantum's TECHVISION enabling for generator control and image preview on the x-ray tube head. With its compact design and ability to image patients recumbent and/or upright positions the system provides additional flexibility to meet the wide range of imaging requirements encountered by this facility.
