Amerinet Choice and American Medical Equipment Negotiate New Agreement for Patient Support Surfaces
Amerinet Choice®, the private label and sourcing company of Amerinet Inc., announces a competitive new agreement with American Medical Equipment (AME) for patient powered and NON-powered therapy surfaces.
The Flowt® is a unique therapy surface that incorporates proven ROHO® technology in a full thickness, Non-powered pressure relieving therapy surface. Unlike foam filled mattress replacements, the Flowt® is appropriate for advanced wounds. Additionally, the Flowt® mattresses, can be used with a hand held remote to optimize four zones based on a patient weight. The Flowt® can also be used with an Air Flowt® controller for moisture management. The Flowt® is also available for stretchers, operating room tables, and pediatrics. An Amerinet niche supplier, AME has undergone an extensive evaluation process qualifying them as a company offering members products or services that are unique to the marketplace.
Effective November 1, 2011, through September 31, 2014, this contract offers Amerinet members throughout the country, significant savings on patient support surfaces and other specialty bedding needs including state-of-the-art products such as:
· Protec Low Air Loss & Alternating Pressure Therapy.
· Lateral rotation and operating room specialty application surfaces
· Bariatric, morbidly obese and fall prevention beds
AME products and services strive to address CMS regulations related to "never events" such as ulcers, falls, and certain infections. In addition, AME guarantees that members will receive a price on covered products equal or lower to that paid under any other hospital purchasing agreement.
