Middleton, Wisconsin - This May, Standard Imaging released updates to two of the company's premiere software solutions, IMSure 3.4 and PIPSpro 4.4.
PIPSpro 4.4, which expedites quality assurance procedures associated with TG-142, adds an IGRT module to the software's suite of specialized tools. This IGRT functionality allows users to track and trend the daily IGRT tests recommended in TG-142, easily showing mechanical issues before they become a clinically relevant event. The new IGRT module, along with the majority of PIPSpro's other tools, were streamlined in version 4.4, making for a more intuitive user-interface and workflow.
The newest version of Standard Imaging's IMRT plan QA software, IMSure 3.4, adds stereotactic radiosurgery capabilities, including the calculation of cone-based delivery and cone-based arc delivery. Other additions to IMSure are improvements in Elekta motorized wedge plan calculations, the ability to run on Windows 7 and compatibility with the latest Accuray Multiplan treatment plans and the Siemens 160 leaf collimator.
