Application Details

SIIM research grants are restricted to residents, fellows, graduate students, or faculty. Preference is given to projects at SIIM member institutions and projects that contribute to the development of careers of new or prospective researchers. Residents, fellows, and students must conduct their projects under the guidance of experienced investigators.

Grant recipients are expected to submit their papers for presentation at the SIIM annual meeting and for publication in the Journal of Digital Imaging. The 2007 SIIM Annual Meeting takes place June 7-10 in Providence, R.I., and will feature the findings of the recipient of the 2006 research grant. Recipients of the 2007 grants will present their findings at SIIM 2008, May 15-18, in Seattle.

The grants are supported by contributions from SIIM members (for a list of contributors go to: http://www.scarnet.org/GrantContributors.html).
