"At my last session, they escorted me out, gave me a hug, and I was on my way. In January, I am going to have another PET scan to see the tumor changes and, depending on the outcome, we go to the next step. I may or may not need to get more cancer treatments. So for now, I focus on living every day and feeling good."
Swart says, "My main takeaway is how thankful I am to have found such a wonderful cancer center. You can tell the staff is very well-trained and dedicated, truly best in class. Quality is important to them and they are in pursuit of excellence. I would recommend others diagnosed with cancer find a provider team they are comfortable with. Relax and listen to what they say."
