BC Technical Inc. is about to play an even bigger role in the refurbished medical equipment market.
The medical imaging solutions provider announced on Tuesday that it been selected by HealthTrust, a group purchasing organization, to provide refurbished medical equipment to 1,400 of HealthTrust's acute care facilities.
The selection is intended to help these facilities save money on imaging equipment by offering them an alternative, non-OEM choice.

Through several recent acquisitions, BC Technical has grown its presence in the refurbished imaging equipment market.
Its latest
acquisition of C&G Technologies, an independent CT service provider, in August 2013, was the seventh acquisition by BC Technical over a 20 month period.
