Geneva - Eastman Kodak Company announced it has recently signed contracts for KODAK CARESTREAM Radiology Solutions and KODAK CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions with regional providers of healthcare services and leading hospitals across Europe. These include the Satakunta region of Finland and Sienna Hospital in Tuscany, Italy.

"European customers are choosing to work with Kodak to meet the needs of their national, regional and community e-health initiatives and for assistance in the transition to an all-digital workflow," said Ian Marron, Director European Sales, Healthcare Information Solutions. "These orders are evidence that Kodak's innovative solutions can deliver improvements in both quality and cost of patient care."

The following are among those who have placed orders during spring 2006.

-West Zeeland County, Denmark, upgraded to KODAK CARESTREAM PACS and KODAK CARESTREAM RIS platforms
-Uppsala Region, Sweden, ordered KODAK CARESTREAM Radiology Solutions comprising PACS and RIS and KODAK CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions (IMS) -Satakunta Region, Finland, deployment of KODAK CARESTREAM PACS and Information Management Solutions as part of a managed service agreement
-East Tallinn Centre Hospital, Estonia, ordered KODAK CARESTREAM PACS as part of Baltic e-health project.
-Sienna Hospital, Tuscany, Italy, ordered KODAK CARESTREAM PACS.
-Adan Hospital, Kuwait, ordered KODAK CARESTREAM PACS.
-Royal Glamorgan Hospital, UK upgraded to KODAK CARESTREAM PACS platforms.
