Emergency Medicine
St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and the University of Michigan Health System sponsor a joint residency in emergency medicine. This is a four-year, fully accredited program that prepares the trainee to take the certifying examination given by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. The program sponsors clinical rotations in the emergency departments at The University of Michigan Hospitals, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Rotations in ambulatory, inpatient and intensive care pediatrics are offered at the University's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
