MD Buyline Ranks GE #1 in Service Categories of Ultrasound Radiology

by Barbara Kram, Editor | October 23, 2006
WAUKESHA, WISC. MD Buylines 3rd Quarter 2006 survey shows the GE Healthcare unit of GE (NYSE:GE) ranking #1 in system performance, installation and implementation services, and service response time for Radiology Ultrasound.

The rankings, which emerge from MD Buyline information-gathering efforts such as user-satisfaction surveys and interviews, show that GEs score has improved over the previous quarter in five of the six categories.

Were proud that our customers ratings continue to climb, said Hooman Hakami, GE Healthcares Vice President and General Manager, Clinical Systems Services. We have re-invested aggressively in our field service organization, as well as in our remote service capability, and we feel that these scores are a direct reflection that our investment in these areas is paying off.

Hakami added that these MD Buyline results confirm the findings of IMV-ServiceTrack recently released 2006 ServiceTrak survey, which ranked GE #1 in 13 key performance categories for Radiology/OB Ultrasound Service.

Creating a memorable customer experience is a critical element of our business, he added. And we are delighted to see this MD Buyline feedback confirm what we see and hear through other independent surveys, and with our own internal net promoter score initiative, where we have a 95% customer satisfaction rating.
