ROCHESTER, N.Y., November 2 MAGNET, a major U.S. healthcare group purchasing organization, has signed a new five-year contract with Eastman Kodak Company that makes Kodaks digital imaging products available to more than 12,000 MAGNET member facilities.
Under terms of this agreement, MAGNET (Mid-Atlantic Group Network of Shared Services) participating healthcare facilitiesincluding hospitals, clinics and growing medical practicescan now purchase KODAK computed radiography (CR) systems, KODAK digital radiography (DR) systems, KODAK laser imaging systems as well as a variety of x-ray films.
"Kodak has established itself as a trusted resource for the latest in digital medical imaging and information technologies, said Derwood B. Dunbar, Jr., President and CEO, MAGNET. "As a result of this contract, our participating healthcare facilities can now purchase innovative digital systems and services that can help enhance patient care and improve their day-to-day operations.
