The Tri-Power Monitor
Mounting Solution creates a
comfortable reading experience.
RedRick Technologies Inc. introduced the new Tri-Power Monitor Mounting Solution at this year’s RSNA. This unique mounting solution allows you to mount even the heaviest diagnostic monitors and gives you the capability to adjust your display systems vertically and horizontally, as well as to tilt up and down, with the touch of a button. RedRick expects to have this product available in the second quarter of 2007.
Reading soft copy images in a poorly designed reading area can lead to eye fatigue, headaches, repetitive strain injuries and decreases reading efficiency and accuracy. This will only get worse, as radiologists are called upon to be reading more images and for longer periods of time.
Many studies have been performed and the consensus is that lighting is the single most important design requirement for the reading area. RedRick has made strong advances in ambient lighting. The lighting solution is very discreet – no unsightly housings and hardware, just the perfect amount of dimmable ambient light, to reduce eye strain. The final outcome – more accurate readings.

The RedRick custom, height adjustable workstation continues to be an industry leader. Workstations are fully adjustable, aesthetically pleasing, strong and durable. The RedRick Workstation is suitable for soft copy and hybrid environments. A wide range of accessories are available to make your reading space more comfortable and productive.
It is not unusual that the existing reading room is poorly designed for the change to soft copy reading. Neither is it unusual that the user group does not have a clear understanding of what the operational workflow in the future digital environment will, or should be. The reading room needs to be designed to help realize the efficiencies expected from implementing a PACS solution. RedRick’s design associates bring 25 years experience in diagnostic imaging operations, in both analog and digital, and design-build architecture/construction management.
