(RIVERHEAD, NY – March 24, 2016) Peconic Bay Medical Center, a member of Northwell Health is pleased to announce Thomas F. Mannino, MD appointed by the Medical Executive Committee and The Board of Directors at Peconic Bay Medical Center as the Chief of Radiology and Associate Chief Medical Officer effective February 2016.
Dr. Mannino has been employed at Northwell Health Physician Partners as a Radiologist since 1996. Dr. Mannino is Board Certified in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He also holds the position of an Instructor at the Northwell Health Center for Learning and Innovation and is a Founding Board Member of the Cold Spring Harbor Education Foundation.
Dr. Mannino has 20 years of radiology experience. Previously, he held the position as Chairman of Radiology and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Northwell Health Glen Cove Hospital, formerly North Shore LIJ Glen Cove Hospital. Dr. Mannino was employed at North-Shore Imaging at Glen Cove as the Medical Director of the Outpatient Imaging Center from 2006 to 2014. Dr. Mannino was then promoted to Associate Chairman of Radiology at Glen Cove Hospital and thereafter as Chairman of Radiology at Forest Hills Hospital in 2014.

Dr. Mannino received his M.D. from Stony Brook School of Medicine located in Stony Brook, NY in May 1990. He completed his residency training in radiology at Stony Brook University Hospital in June 1995, followed by his Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in June 1996. More recently, Dr. Mannino completed his Master’s in Health Care Delivery Science at the Tuck School of Business and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in 2015.
Dr. Mannino is currently overseeing the Grossman Imaging Center in Manorville and Peconic Bay Medical Center Radiology Department in Riverhead as Chief of Radiology.
