Stamford, CT - FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has announced that the group purchasing division of Premier, Inc., Premier Purchasing Partners, L.P., has again selected Fuji as a contracted supplier for computed radiography (CR). This three-year agreement, effective January 1, 2007, through December 31, 2009, ensures Premier members have access to Fuji's complete and leading line of CR systems.

"The quality, productivity and reliability of Fuji's CR systems prevailed once again as Fuji underwent the rigors of the Premier technology review process and was awarded the contract," said Phil Buffington, Fuji's Executive Director, National Accounts. "No other manufacturer can offer the comprehensive line of products backed by the long-standing leadership position that Fuji has. We're pleased that Premier's member facilities will have continued access to our full portfolio of CR systems for at least three more years." Included in the contract are all of Fuji's cassette-based readers which together provide a solution for every imaging application:

* FCR Carbon™ X and FCR Carbon™ XL - The smallest, fully-featured CR systems in the world, which provide Fuji's renowned image quality while taking only 2.41 square feet of floor space.

* FCR XG5000 - The highest throughput (processing up to 165 imaging plates per hour), multi plate-based digital x-ray device available in the world today.

* FCR ClearView-CS™ - The first high capacity digital x-ray system to feature Fuji's dual-side reading technology, making it particularly well suited for premium imaging applications like pediatrics.
