On top of everything else, he is a gentleman. You do not see many young people as polite as Chad.
Stephen Glasgow and Steve Hodgson were there from Asteral. I did not get much of a chance to visit with Steve Hodgson but if you have the chance to talk to him, he is a very interesting guy. I did visit briefly with Stephen Glasgow who always impresses me as a serious and careful businessperson. You get the feeling he is always working the numbers in his head in order to make a decision about what is the best approach.

Representing Dunlee was Ed Petrovskis, Martina Pieper and Guido Stoeckmann. Both these fellows are well known figures in the industry and they have both been around a long time. They are both pleasant to spend time with. I do not know what plans Dunlee has for the future but you could not ask for two nicer fellows. This is the first time I met Martina but she impressed me during our chat.
I was so glad to see Josh Sutton there. He commented to me that he believed he was the only ultrasound person there. I am not 100 percent sure that is correct but I
am sure Josh Sutton is or will be a positive force in our industry in the years to come.
Shirin Charkhkar was there from Harmony Medical. I know that Shirin, who took over the business for her husband, has an active business in Iran. I think she might be expanding but unfortunately I did not have much of a chance to visit with her so I will have to make it a point to visit with her next time.
Sebastian Cienki from MVS Poland was there. Sebastian is another fellow who has a great reputation as an engineer. He pioneered alternative service in Poland and was one of the few people in Europe to do this. He is warm and friendly but you know his brain is always at work. He is another guy I would not want to go out on a night on the town for fear I would not make it home until after sunrise.
Robert Manetta was there with his lovely wife, Traci. Everybody knows that Nationwide is one of the biggest players in the world and while Robert is a warm and friendly guy, I believe that his brain works faster than a computer. He remembers small details from two years ago when it comes to equipment. Rob and Traci look like a couple of movie stars wherever they go. Rob is also on the board but I am not sure how he makes time given how busy he is.
Mark Henderson was there from MRI Depot. Mark is another warm and friendly person and he is the second generation to work in the business. I know his father told me that at the last meeting he could not make it because he had to deinstall and transport a machine so it seems like Mark knows all aspects of the business.
