Cadex Electronics
Booth #542
Improving the reliability of medical devices does not rest in a better battery, but in doing battery management. This is not happening to a required level and AAMI rates battery management as one of the top 10 challenges. A U.S. FDA survey says that up to 50 percent of issues in hospitals are battery-related. Cadex offers battery analyzers that ensure all in-use batteries are within a capacity range of 80–100 percent. Knowing battery performance reliably increases uptime of medical devices in critical applications, reduces cost as each battery can be used fully, and sends fewer devices for repair because the battery analyzer does the troubleshooting.

DOTmed is proud to support AAMI this year as a lead sponsor of their 50th Anniversary Appreciation Reception. The event is being held on Saturday, June 10, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. There will be an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and live music. We hope to see you there! DOTmed.com is also the world’s leading public medical equipment, parts and service marketplace — with over 625 000 listings on any given day, more than 22,000 daily visitors and over a quarter million registered users. Our featured service is DOTmed Clean Sweep Live Auctions offered to health care facilities. With Clean Sweep, we come and pick up all your surplus equipment, auction it in a simultaneous live and online auction, and pay you the net proceeds.
DOTmed also has the largest selection of new and used equipment of any online marketplace. You can post, auction, buy or sell equipment and parts on DOTmed — and registering is free. Buyers and sellers contact each other directly — we do not own anything for sale on our site. Health care providers can sell commission-free by posting their high-value surplus equipment in a DOTmed Private Sale. We also publish an industry-leading magazine, HealthCare Business News, and HealthCare Business Daily News online and the industry’s leading annual Buyer’s Guide, which features over 200 pages of the top equipment manufacturers, dealers and service providers, and is given away free at AAMI. Just come by and ask for one.
