LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- M. Victoria Marx, M.D., FSIR, an interventional radiologist at Keck Medicine of USC, and professor of clinical radiology and diagnostic radiology residency program director at Keck School of Medicine of USC, Los Angeles, assumed the office of president of the Society of Interventional Radiology on March 20, during the society's Annual Scientific Meeting in Los Angeles.

New and reappointed members of the SIR Executive Council are Councilors-at-large Robert J. Lewandowski, M.D., FSIR, Northwestern Medicine, Chicago; and Akhilesh K. Sista, M.D., FSIR, NYU Langone Health, New York; Postgraduate medical education division councilor Kelvin Hong, M.D., FSIR, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore; Graduate medical division councilor Parag J.
