Installation of at The Harley Street Clinic included the optional mammography feature, which enables workflow efficiencies by capturing mammography and general radiography exams with the same CR platform. "While many of our sites have Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM), others have explored the option of CR," explained Kaye Bonython. "Our Harley Street Clinic site decided that this was the most appropriate option for them and our reporting radiologists have been extremely happy with the results."

Purchase of the KODAK DIRECTVIEW CRs was made through Carestream Health's former owner, Kodak's Health Group. "We chose Kodak CR as we were impressed with the functionality and we felt confident in the service and support we have received in the past," said Kaye Bonython. "The introduction of CR strengthened this relationship further with the assistance we were offered with the implementation and project management of a change that involved significant staff training and culture shift.
"Like most customers we were delighted to hear that with Carestream Health we would still be dealing with the same people in sales and in the field. Only our most recent installation at the Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatient Centre has been under the new Carestream Health banner but it felt just the same so we were more than happy. I see all the signs that our existing good working relationship will continue as before."
Carestream Health, an independent company, has licensed the Kodak brand for use with its own brands - such as CARESTREAM, DIRECTVIEW AND DRYVIEW - across its portfolio of leading-edge medical imaging and healthcare IT products.
