A practicing physician since 1999, Dr. Moudgal earned her degree from Lokmanya Talak Medical College in Bombay, India, before continuing her training as an internal medicine resident and an infectious disease fellow at Detroit-area hospitals. During her clinical practice, she also undertook additional administrative roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately obtaining a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) degree from the American Association for Physician Leadership.
She has served in mentorship roles as the infectious diseases fellowship program director and also as an associate professor in the division of infectious disease at the Medical College of Ohio and Wayne State University.
