Siemens Healthineers and the University Hospital Nantes (CHU de Nantes) have entered into a 12-year partnership, with a total volume of €55 million ($60 million).
The agreement focuses on advancing diagnostic and interventional imaging technologies across 13 public hospitals, including the installation of cutting-edge equipment and collaboration on research and education initiatives. This includes nine photon-counting CT scanners, six virtually helium-free MR scanners, as well as 30 mobile C-arms and nine angiography units.
The collaboration will support the University Hospital Nantes' move to a new main facility by 2027, ensuring imaging capabilities remain uninterrupted during the transition. Additionally, Siemens Healthineers will provide planning security and continuity through a structured financial framework to ensure efficient purchasing and operational sustainability.
