Siemens Healthineers has signed an eight-year technology partnership with Klinikum Landkreis Erding to replace and standardize the hospital’s entire ultrasound fleet.

Under the agreement, Siemens Healthineers will supply, install, train staff on, and service 29 ultrasound systems across all departments of the German hospital. The contract includes an option for a two-year extension. Hospital officials said the move will unify the operating systems of the devices, aiming to streamline workflows and maintain consistent diagnostic quality.

“The technology partnership with Siemens Healthineers is a further investment in improving the quality and securing the future of the hospital,” said district administrator Martin Bayerstorfer. “This guarantees us consistent device quality and availability as well as uniform operation of the systems and thus higher diagnostic quality for the benefit of patients.”
