Aspirus Health plans to open its new Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital and Clinic on September 22, adding hospital, primary care and diagnostic services at a new campus in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
The approximately 35,000-square-foot facility will provide emergency care, inpatient hospital services, primary care, laboratory testing, imaging, including X-ray and CT, and an on-site pharmacy. The hospital and clinic are located on a 22-acre campus.
According to the Wisconsin-based health system, the project is intended to expand local access to care in the Chippewa Valley, where demand for health care services has grown. The facility will serve as a critical access point, offering residents emergency and inpatient care closer to home while integrating those services with outpatient primary care and diagnostics.

“This opening is about more than a new building, it is about ensuring patients in Chippewa Falls and surrounding communities have dependable access to excellent care, supported by knowledgeable clinicians and the resources of a strong regional health system,” said Jason Troxell, Northwest WI Division president, Aspirus Health.
Aspirus said it has been preparing clinical teams, technology and operational workflows ahead of the September opening to support patient care from the first day of operations. Construction remains on schedule, according to the health system.
The organization also continues recruiting staff for the new facility.
“As we prepare to open our doors, we are energized by the strong interest we’ve seen from talented health care professionals who want to be part of this effort,” Troxell said. “That momentum reflects both the strength of the Aspirus mission and the opportunity to build a team focused on clinical excellence, compassion and service to this community.”
