ROCHESTER, N.Y., September 27 -- Eastman Kodak Company has signed a three-year agreement with 3G Ultrasound, Inc., Ramsey, N.J., naming Kodak as the exclusive worldwide service provider for 3G's Sonalis ultrasound unit used in surgical procedures.

3G Ultrasound designs and manufactures the first FDA approved ultrasound system that uses SimulView technology for pinpoint targeting of needle placement in any type of therapeutic delivery in tumors via ultrasound imaging. The system will be available in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2005 with European availability planned for early 2006.

Kodak will provide all post-sale support for 3G Ultrasound's Sonalis equipment, including telephone customer technical support, field installation and on-site equipment repair and maintenance.
